My favourite travel destination in India

 Camping in Rishikesh might be the perfect vacation for some people but

not me.



There are many travel destination in India like Shimla , Karnataka ,Goa, etc but one of my favourites destination is Leh Ladakh❤




Though this offbeat gem does not seem ideal to be counted in one of the besf family holiday destination in India, many families have broken this stereotypical perception by exploring the best of ladakh . Ladakh seems every bit of a paradise in winters wherein families can make the most of the tourist attractions like that of Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and Nubra Valley.





Major Tourist Attractions: Shanti Stupa, Tso Moriri Lake, Leh Palace, Nubra Valley, Namgyal Tsemo Gompa, Hall of Fame Museum and Spituk Monastery


Best Things To Do: Camping near Pangong Lake, Explore the Himalayan views, White water rafting in Zanskar River and Drive up till the Magnetic Hill


Best Time To Visit: June to September


How To Reach: The best way to reach Leh is by air. If you are feeling more adventurous, then you could also plan a road trip. However, you would require a permit for that. Also, road journey is dependent on the weather conditions.

Famous Food: Tigmo, Thukpa, Momos, Khambir

One of the most exciting places to visit in Leh Ladakh is the Khardung La Pass. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The views here are spectacular. This is an important road, especially for the Indian Army as it is used to transport various necessities to the Siachen Glacier.
